Katelyn turns 1

Katelyn turned the big 1 on December 01...and because I was leaving in a week for a month long trip I didn't have time to blog about it. It was a fun day...probably more fun for me.

Craig wanted to make her cake that she got to dig into. I didn't like the whole idea at first. I had in mind what I wanted for her cake and I didn't think he could do that...but he surprised me and it turned out really cute.

This is the night before the big day.

We just played at home for most of the day


Then we left for the birthday party. It was the first big snow storm of the year that day.
