Today was a great day. We started out the day by going to play group for a couple of hours. It was at the church today which I love cause I don't have to worry about Katelyn destroying anything and she can just run and run wherever she wants...plus I get some time to just sit and chat.

Then we had lunch at McDonald's which had the best Diet Coke I've had in awhile. Then we went shopping cause I am still looking for a dress for Craig's sister's wedding. No luck at the mall but it was fun letting Kate play in the big tree house they have there for the kids.

So then we were off to a strip mall with a bunch of stores where I thought I would find something. So the first great thing that happened was I was at Nordstrom Rack and I found this shirt that I liked and it was only $25 dollars but it was still a little much for me but I was like "oh well, it's cute and it would go with one of the skirts I already have". I get up to the register and the lady tells me my total and it was much less than I thought. The shirt only ended up being $9.97. SCORE! Ok then my second great find goes like this...Last spring at Express they had this white box pleat skirt that I wanted really really bad but it was $60 so I thought I would come back in a couple of weeks and I was sure it would be on sale. Well I did and it was but it had only come down to $40. I still didn't want to pay that much so I thought again about coming back in another two weeks. So I came back two weeks later and it was GONE! I asked an associate what had happened to it and she said they got rid of them to their outlets. I was so mad. So I had missed out on this really cute skirt....until today. I found it at Marshall's. Only one left and in my size. It was my lucky day. And you want to know how much I Paid for it... $7.00!!! Woot woot!!! While I was trying on clothes Katelyn put on my scarf and my bracelet by herself and then stood in front of the mirror to look at herself for probably a full minute. It probably would have been longer but then I interrupted her by taking her picture.

It was a fun and exhausting day. Even Craig got home before we did. When I got home he surprised me with my favorite Chocolate French Silk Pie. I need more days like this. Even though it was raining this morning, gloomy this afternoon, and then snowing early this evening it couldn't have ruined the day. It was perfect.
