We had a crazy day yesterday. Started shopping @ 7:30 a.m. took a break and went home around 2:00 and went back out for round two around 4:00 and didn't get home until 9:00. Katelyn was a trooper. We didn't see as many great deals as we thought we would. It was our first time ever going out on the big day and we must say we were disappointed. We got some good deals at some of the stores we went to, but I guess for how much hype this day gets, we were expecting more. Oh well. At least we know for next year to stay home. The crowds weren't worth it I don't think. A pile of all our purchases from the 13 different stores we hit yesterday.
Here we are on Thanksgiving day at dinner. It was a really relaxed an fun day...and Kate loved the pumpkin pie and whip cream.

Happy Thanksgiving
I thought I would make a list of the things I'm most grateful for..
Craig
He's a very sweet husband and a great dad. He works so hard and I'm really proud in all he's accomplished.
Katelyn
My pride and joy. She's adorable in every way and everyday is an adventure with her. She's so busy and on the go. I can barely keep up with her. She's really cheesin' it in this picture too. :)
Family
For all of my family back home. I miss them a lot! Can't wait to see you in a couple weeks!
Friends
I have the best friends anyone could ask for. There's so many of you that I just love love love. You make living far from home easier. I love GNO, craft days/nights, movie nights, and lots of eating out.
Somewhere to eat today :)
We have friends that are so sweet to invite us to eat over at Kellogg. We did it last year as well and it was sooo good. Then tonight we'll be going bowling with a lot more friends from the ward. Yeah again for really great friends.
Scrapbooking
It's my favorite hobby and I love that my husband is sweet enough to let me have it set up all the time in Kate's room. It's takes up almost half of her room but I love having it all out all the time. Maybe someday I'll have my very own craft room.
Google
It's a lifesaver. I find everything I need through google. :)
Diet Coke
What would I do without you?
Everyone have a great Thanksgiving!

Must read
I just finished "Finding Noel" by Richard Paul Evans. He wrote it a couple years ago and I read it when it first came out but I decided to read it again. It's that good. :) It's a cute story based around Christmastime. I recommend it to everyone. Some of my other favorite books written by him are
I was lucky to meet and have lunch with him a few years back and what a sweet, down to earth guy. Sadly I hadn't read any of his books at the time of our meeting. :) That's probably a good thing though cause I would have probably acted all crazy and ask him a bunch of dumb questions about his books, and then go home feeling all embarrassed about the way I acted so immaturely. I did own some of the books at the time and for some dumb reason I didn't think to bring them with me to have him sign. DANG! Oh well. Anywho, great reads. Let me know if you need to borrow any.

9 words women use
I got this from my cousin's blog who got it from her cousin...Anywho, I thought it was really funny because I say mostly all of them... all the time. Except for maybe #2...but all the rest...yup, I'm guilty
1-Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
2-Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. 'Five minutes' is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
3-Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with 'nothing' usually end in 'fine'.
4- Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!
5- Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about 'nothing'. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of 'nothing'.)
6- That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. 'That's okay' means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
7-Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' ... that will bring on a 'whatever').
8-Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying 'SCREW YOU'!
9-Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

Katelyn's Walking
This is a video of Kate today walking again. She's been walking for about a week now and this one was too funny. So I decided to post it mainly so my sister could see. It is too big to send in an email. But for everyone else feel free to enjoy a long video of Kate if you want. I can't stop laughing when I watch it. Mainly because of Katelyn but also beacuse in that one part because of Craig's reaction too.
