A friend tagged me on this so here it goes
What is his name? Craig Fryer
How long have we been married? 3 years next month
How long did we date? about a year
How old is he? 26 on Friday
Who eats more? I'm not sure...we both eat a lot I think
Who said I love you first? He did
Who is taller? Craig is
Who sings better? I don't think we're both any good but I'm sure I'm better :) Craig isn't much of a singer.
Who is smarter? Craig is. He's pretty smart
Whose temper is worse? I think his is. But I can get pretty upset sometimes too.
Who pays the bills? That's all him :)
Who does the laundry? I do. It's easier to do it during the day when I'm at home instead of waiting for him to get home and help.
Who cooks dinner? I try to but Craig is a picky eater. A lot of the time he ends up cooking dinner himself. But it's great. He's a good cook.
Who drives when together? He does
Who is more stubborn? I am probably
Who is the first to admit when wrong? he does....I'm always right! :) (jk)
Who wears the pants in the family? I'm not sure. I'm a stickler on a lot of things and Craig is pretty good at supporting that but he can put his foot down on things important to him. So I guess we both do.
Who mows the lawn? We both don't have to. Perks to living in a condo I guess. Someone else takes care of that stuff.
Who kissed who first? He did
Who asked who out first? He did
Who proposed? Craig did
What is my favorite thing about him? Craig loves to pamper me. I love it. He's so good to me.

Tagged by Kris...
Here are the rules:
1. Grab the book closest to you (has to be at least 123 pages)
2. Turn to page 123
3. Find the 5th sentence
4. Post the 5th sentence on your blog
5. Tag 5 people
The book closest to me was "What to expect the first year". On page 123 at the top of the page is a box called "Cracking the crying code". How ironic since I have a crying baby all the time :) The 5th sentence says..."The hunger cry is often preceded by hunger cues, such as lip smacking, rooting, or finger sucking." Interesting...I'm not sure how much help this really is..

There is one good thing...
about the "no dairy" diet that I had to do. When my mom-in-law was here visiting we went to The Cheesecake Factory and I found this meal that was soooo yummy. CRISPY CHICKEN COSTOLETTA We ended up going back again for a second time and I made sure I got the same thing. It was hard to try it for the first time because I usually go somewhere and I always get the same thing. I get too nervous to try something new. This time it actually ended up being a great thing. I'm craving it and I hope to go again soon but in the mean time I found a recipe that I think might be pretty close to it.
Crispy Chicken Costolleta
Serves 4
Crispy Chicken
4 chicken breasts, cut horizontally, and pounded to about 1/4 inch thick, or use chicken cutlets.
Lemon zest of 2 lemons
1 1/2 cups plain bread crumbs
2 Tablespoons Freshly grated Parmesan (optional)
2 eggs, whisked with 2 T water
3 Tablespoons flour
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp kosher salt
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Zest two lemons. Bake zest for about 5 minutes until dry. On one paper plate combine flour, pepper and salt. On another paper plate combine eggs and water, whisk until combined. On another paper plate combine dry lemon zest, bread crumbs and cheese. Place pounded chicken in the flour, coating well, followed by the egg mixture and the bread crumbs. Heat 2 Tablespoons olive oil and 1 Tablespoon butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Place chicken in pan and cook on each side about 5 minutes until middle is no longer pink. You will need to work in batches, adding more oil and butter as needed. Keep chicken warm in oven at 250 degrees.
Lemon Sauce
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
1 tablespoon canola oil
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/4 cup plus 1 T fresh lemon juice
1/8 cup chicken stock
Kosher salt
Freshly ground pepper
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Over medium heat in a fairly large saucepan heat canola oil. Add minced garlic and saute about 3 minutes. Add whipping cream and boil until reduced by one-third. Add Dijon, lemon juice, chicken stock and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted.
Serve chicken with lemon sauce and mashed garlic potatoes.

I think I'm going crazy
Today I was supposed to go visiting teaching and I totally spaced it. I was so wrapped up with Katelyn and trying to get her down for her morning nap that this appointment didn't even cross my mind until I saw the missed call from my ladies.(so sorry Rachael and Carrie) This is so not like me. Before Kate I used to be so organized and I was on time for everything and I remembered all of those little things. But now I feel like a different person. I feel like I'm lacking on my household duties as well. I can't keep things straight. Did any of you experience this with your first child?

A WONDERFUL Day Followed By A WONDERFUL Night
Yesterday was a great day. The weather was 70 degrees and so I made sure Katelyn and I went out and enjoyed it. We had fun shopping at Michael's and Old Orchard for most of the day. We even ended up getting pictures taken. They turned out so cute. Then we had fun(except for towards the end when Katelyn was throwing a fit) at a friend's house cutting hair. It was followed by a fantastic night. Katelyn slept for 8 1/2 hours. I just wish I could have slept as well. Once 3am hit I was up every hour wondering why Katelyn was sleeping so well. I'm hoping this is a start of something wonderful :)

Inspirational Story
My cousin had this website... http://www.audreycaroline.blogspot.com/ on her blog. It's an inspirational story of the courage of a woman and her baby on the way. Her story brought tears to my eyes as I read through her last few months of pregnancy and the day her girl arrived. Going through child birth so recently I know how high the emotions can run. And in all honesty I don't know how well I could have handled it if I had to go through something like this. I am inspired by her courage. This story really brings it home and helps me to remember how thankful I am to know that our family will be together forever.
I Feel Pretty
Today I was hoping to go and get a great and relaxing pedicure but with the weather being so awful I didn't want to go out. My sweet husband offered to give me a pedicure instead and it turned out so well. It lasted a whole hour! He did everything(trim toenails, push back cuticles, filed, buffed, massaged feet and legs, and painted). I had a couple rough days with Katelyn(up all night) and this made my day. So Chicago, Rain all you want. I'm having a wonderful day at home with hubby and babe.

In need of help...
So I just found out that I need to go on a "no dairy" diet and I'm kinda bummed. I can't eat dairy, nuts, eggs, spicy foods, and the worst no caffeine.(I'll miss my diet coke) I'm having a hard time coming up with some good things to eat since most of my meals have those things in it especially the dairy. If you know of anything simple or any fun recepies(especially you Sarah)please let me know. I don't want to have to eat the same things every sigle day.

Katelyn's 4 months
I can't believe it's been 4 months already. She's growing up fast. Last week we had her 4 month checkup and she is doing pretty well except for the fact that she cries all the time. :) She did drop a weight class but we think it's because of the problems she's been having with eating and everything else. She was in the 25-50% and has dropped to the 10-25%. But she's still 75-90% for her height. So she's very tall and lanky :) So at 4 months Katelyn is rolling over(I tried posting a video of her rolling over but it didn't seem to work but if I do get it soon I'll post it), stands a lot on her feet, still loves to take baths, holds her hands together, cries real tears, jabbers all the time, drools on everything, hates being on her tummy, smiles big but hasn't laughed yet. She's a joy!
