Shrine Game

Sam got to play in the All Star shrine game. It was Katelyn's first football experience that had to be cut short right at the end cause it was too dang cold outside.

Sam's Graudation

We had another great night celebrating Sam in his Graduation.

And he's living on his own....

So my little big brother is on his own but I'm a little worried. Look what he did just a couple weeks before he was to venture out on his own....




He thought dish soap and dishwashing soap was the same thing. He made us laught and it made my day :)

Sam's Baccalaureate

The family attended Sam's Baccalaureate on the Sunday before his graduation. It was really good. They had good speakers. I wish I could remember who the quorum of the seventy speaker was....but I don't. He gave a good talk though :) I was able to sit through the whole thing cause I had an aunt and uncle who were very nice and took Katelyn for a couple of hours.

Flight to SLC

The flight out went ok. Katelyn was pretty good. We lucked out again and got on a pretty empty flight so we had a how row (3 seats) to ourselves. The only issue we had was Katelyn decided to have a blow out in her pants before we got on the plane. I usally have a change of clothing in my bag but not this time. I was trying to pack light. What a mess that was. I had to wash out her pants in the airport bathroom and dry them as much as I could before I had to board. Poor Katelyn had to be wrapped up in her blanket the whole time because I didn't want anyone to see that she had no pants on. :)

We're finally home

I'm happy to say we're back. Katelyn and I had a good and long trip. We had fun visiting all of our family but we're glad to be back home. I'll probably be posting all about our trip after this. We attended lots of fun events and hit big milestones. Stay tuned!

Katelyn's 5 month's

The last month sure flew by. Time is going by so fast. My little baby is getting so big. She isn't doing a ton of new things since the last time I wrote at 4 months but some things she does new is...
-Plays with her tongue constantly
-Makes many new sounds now that's she's discovered she really can talk
-Refuses to sleep on her back. I put her to sleep on her back and she immediately rolls over to her stomach.
-She's gained 12 ounces in a month...whoa that's huge! :)
-She's sitting up. She tips over every once in awhile but she's pretty good. I can leave her alone sitting up and I don't have to worry to much about her.
-She eats better
-Still cries a lot
-Mom loves her more than ever
